“I’ve learned that acceptance doesn’t equal complacence”
I used to think being unnoffendable meant wearing a shield of armor so people knew how tough I was. And that stance worked for a while but it just doesn’t jive with me anymore.
Because I care less about proving my strength and more about honoring other people’s position. I don’t always agree but I do my best to understand.
I’ve learned that acceptance doesn’t equal complacence. And it doesn’t mean I tolerate things I find degrading. It just means I’m more committed to peace and flow than I am to anything else.
And what I’ve found is the more I try to live from this energy, the less conflict I’m apart of and the more ease I experience.
